East Court Assessment offers a Psychological and Educational assessment service. The service specialises in specific learning difficulties (SpLD) and we can assess for difficulties in
- literacy- including dyslexia, dysgraphia and reading comprehension impairment
- numeracy including dyscalculia
- speech and language including specific language impairment
- motor development including dyspraxia, or developmental co-ordination disorder
- attention deficit screening for ADD/ADHD
- social communication - screening for autistic spectrum and Aspergers
A general assessment of intelligence, attainments and other educational advice can be given. We can assess for examination access arrangements, DSA funding, evidence for Educational, Health and Care plans and Tribunals. We provide advice for teaching and other support following our assessment. Educational Psychology assessments are available for children
aged 6 or above, as well as for adults.
East Court Assessments can arrange for referral so specialist teachers, therapists and other professionals for teaching and therapeutic programs.

The teaching of both children and adults with specific learning difficulties/dyslexia can be arranged or further referrals to specialist teachers can be made. East Court Assessment also has contacts for counselling, speech and language therapy, motor development (dyspraxia) assessment and treatment.
We do recognised Educational Psychology assessments for students at or entering Higher Education. These meet all the requirements for DSA testing and are shortened versions of the full adult assessment.
